Kona buffer image for those who will complain and moan about stanced cars.
Say what you will about stance bros and the like, but they are passionate about their cars. They take cars that are the same, and turn them into something that is their own. That made this car show excellent, because the cars all were unique in some way. Lots of clean builds, and some not so clean.
This thing sounded incredible.
Dumb as shit tag.
In the parking lot.
Something is up with the wheels.
The owner piloted this in on the center console...

I'm shocked you could get pictures that clear through the vape fog.

Every other dude vaped.... Stereotypes are real.

It’s great that people love and personalize their cars, but I really don’t understand stance. What’s compelling about slamming an old Subaru Forester? Cool seeing modern Harlequin-ed VWs, though.

Because stancing an old Forester hurts nothing and looks fairly cool.

The stanced VW Thing is the greatest car in this batch. The rest I kind of consider ruined, but that is actually an improvement.

Well the 914 isn’t Stanced, it’s just setup for track use.

Interesting to see almost every German car produced the last 40 years, apart from anything from Opel...

Why does that I8 look so good on the ground?

I know a little girl by that name. She’s not mine, but she bonded with me at a really young age and I love her like she were my own daughter.
The cars are cool, but the post title just made me realize that I haven’t seen her in too many months and how much I miss her. :(

I think I met the guy that owns that green 944 the other week. Did he have GA tags? If it's him he has between 12-14 944s in various states of running from parts donors to daily drivers.

Cool seeing modern Harlequin-ed VWs, though.
Agreed. You would think it would look horrible on modern designs, but it really doesn’t. Just as cool as the old ones.

I didn’t check the plates, but it probably was.

Because it looks well done.

It was nice, but I prefer the other Squareback’s body style.

This is why I can’t go to car shows because I’d be like “fuck your car, fuck your car, fuck your car, that one’s cool, fuck all those other cars, I’m out."

It’s way better than most local Southern car shows: Mustang on AR Torque Thrust, Mustang on AR Torque Thrust, Corvette on AR Torque Thrust, Camaro on AR Torque Thrust, stock newer Mustang, stock newer Corvette, stock newer Camaro, repeat.
I’ll take over the top personalization over that any day.

I especially like the stock Fox 2-door and the harlequin Golf/Jetta.

Holy. Freaking. Crap. Did that mkII cabrio about midway through have a beer label bombed hood? If so......I can finally declare bierwagen a formal success.... I got copied :D
Side note - you are truly living FiST life with road trips. Head west, young one. Your calling lies in Utah. Miller motorsports park waits for no man, but will open her gates for mere mortals like you and I. Now go, dear child. Go and be blessed by the patron STs of yore. And slide onwards to heaven and enlightenment.

How long does the deal last, because it would have to be next year?
![]() 05/18/2016 at 23:24 |

one year from purchase. Though I heard if you let ford know, they might let you jump around a bit. But no promise the program will be around next year.

Yeah, I want to do it, but some other things need to come first. Like payments. And insurance. And social activities. And visiting family that is overdue.
